Comments from Respondents Regarding Various Treatments:


	
	REGARDING CHIROPRACTIC & CRANIO SACRAL:

	One respondent said "chiropractic may have helped the floor 
	seem less bouncy."

	One person said "chiropractic has helped with all of my
	symptoms."

	One person said that chiropractic would almost always 
	bring on vertigo attacks.

	Another person said he often 
	wondered if chiropractic was making symptoms worse. 
 
	Two additional respondents stated strongly that chiropractic 
	was of no help at all.

	Cranio sacral therapy helped one person after quite a 
	few sessions, but now things are getting worse again

	REGARDING EXERCISES & PHYSICAL THERAPY:
	
	One respondent said that "Brandt-Daroff exercises greatly 
	improved my positional vertigo."  Another respondent made 
	a similar comment.

	One person said “I performed the Epley maneuver myself with an 
	excellent outcome.  I have had to repeat it several times but 
	have never again slept upright after the first 24 hours.”

	Several other respondents also said that Epley gives immediate relief

	Exercising on a treadmill has been a tremendous help to 
	one respondent

	Challenging and desensitizing the vestibular system helps 
	several respondents.

	One person said:  "Vestibular rehab. helped the day to day 
	dizzies, but had no effect on severe attacks."

	One person said: "T'ai chi and vestibular rehabilitation have
	been helpful."

	One person said: "Vestibular rehab has helped all of my 
	symptoms.  I feel more in charge of my environment."

	Yoga helped one person's balance and helped another
	with relaxation.

	One person said that the Alexander technique reduced 
	frequency and severity of attacks.

	Massage therapy helped one respondent

	One person said that "acupuncture has relieved ringing
	in my ears totally and a lot of the vision disturbances."

	One person said "vestibular therapy made me so bad
	that I had to quit"

	
	Regarding Vitamins, and Herbal Therapy:

	Vitamin/herbal therapy has helped one person improve 
	concentration and continue to work.  He takes Gingko Biloba, 
	Ginger Root, and other supplements.

	One respondent claims that ginko has helped 
	tremenously w/tinnitus.

	
	OTHER:

	One respondent claims that a mouth guard has 
	helped somewhat.

	A combination of counseling, low sodium diet, and vitamin 
	therapy helped one respondent.

	One respondent said “since starting a regime of water pills, 
	salt restriction and no caffeine, I have not been incapacitated 
	by spinning.”

	One respondent said DMZ treatments resulted in significant 
	improvement in fullness, tinnitus, balance, and dizziness
